Thomas H. Sinton, President & Chief Executive Officer
Tom has 30 years experience as a business innovator and leader. He
founded ProBusiness Services, Inc., in 1986 and served as its CEO until
2003, when ADP purchased it for $500 million. ProBusiness went public in
1997 and achieved annual revenues of $170 million at the time of its
acquisition. Tom served on Boards at Smart Time Software, Savista
Corporation and on the Advisory Board of Baird Capital Partners, LLC. He
holds a B.A. in English from Harvard College, an M.S. in Food Science
from the University of California, Davis; an MBA from Stanford University
and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Vienna.
Shel Perham, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Shel has more than 25 years of experience in finance, accounting and
operations. Prior to joining Perquest, he served as vice president and
chief accounting officer of UTStarcom, a $2 billion multinational US
publicly traded company and global provider of wireline and wireless
telecommunications infrastructure and handsets. Previously Shel was the
vice president of finance with ProBusiness Services, where he was
responsible for building and managing the companies operational
finance team and supporting the development of its payroll outsourcing
division. He was also division controller and corporate director of
finance for Hexcel Corporation. Shel began his career at Deloitte & Touche
where he served as manager in their Audit Services Group. Shel is co-founder,
board member and chief financial officer of The Creek, a non-profit
youth center for middle school youth. He has a BA in business/economics
from UCLA and is a CPA.
Cheryl Paterson, Vice President Engineering & Chief Information
Officer
Cheryl has over 20 years of experience developing Human Capital
Management (HCM) applications. Cheryl was VP of Engineering for ADP/ProBusiness
where she was responsible for defining a global product strategy and
managing the HCM development teams. Cheryl also served as CTO/VP of
Engineering for InterPro, a workforce and expense management software
company, VP Engineering for Cyborg Systems, developing a new global HCM
product line and was a partner with an implementation consulting firm.
Cheryl has a B.A. in Business Administration from the Anderson School of
Management at the University of New Mexico, and is a member of IEEE and
Board Chair for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area.
Leslie A. Johnson, Vice President Agent Development & Relations
Leslie has more than 20 years experience in executive management,
client service strategy and execution. She most recently served as the
Senior Vice President and Chief Service Officer at Accenture (formerly
Savista). Prior to joining Savista, Leslie was Senior Vice President,
Relationship Management, at ProBusiness Services, Inc., where she
designed and launched a strategic service model yielding industry
leading client retention and satisfaction in the mid-sized and large
corporate markets. She was also a former senior executive in the
Business Services Division at Bank of America and former Senior Vice
President at Ultimate Software Group, Inc. Leslie has a B.A. degree from
the University of Colorado and a graduate of the Financial Management
Program of the University of Virginia-Darden Business School.
Adrienne M. Baker, Vice President Payroll and Tax Operations
Adrienne has over 25 years of experience in the payroll industry. Before
joining Perquest, Adrienne was Director of Tax Projects and Compliance at
ProBusiness Services, Inc., now a division of ADP, Inc. In addition, she
held the positions of Manager of Payroll Operations and Project Manager at
ProBusiness. Prior to ProBusiness, Ms. Baker was the VP of Operations for
EMCON, Inc., an environmental consulting firm. Adrienne began her career
with Ernst & Young. She is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and holds
a B.S. from Ithaca College in New York.
