Thomas H. Sinton, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Sinton has 30 years experience as a business innovator and leader, and is currently President and Chief Executive of Perquest. Tom founded ProBusiness Services, Inc., in 1986 and served as its CEO until 2003, when Automatic Data Processing (ADP) purchased it for $500 million. ProBusiness went public in 1997 and achieved annual revenues of $170 million at the time of its acquisition. Tom served on Boards at SmartTime Software, Inc., Savista Corporation and on the Advisory Board of Baird Capital Partners He holds a B.A. in English from Harvard College, an M.S. in Food Science from the University of California, Davis; an M.B.A. from Stanford University and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Vienna.
Shel Perham, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Operating Officer
Mr. Perham has more than 25 years of experience in finance, accounting and operations. Prior to joining Perquest, Shel served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of UTStarcom, a $2 billion, multinational, U.S. publicly traded company and global provider of wireline and wireless telecommunications infrastructure and handsets. Previously, he was the VP of Finance with ProBusiness Services, where he was responsible for building and managing the company operational finance team and supporting the development of its payroll outsourcing division. He was also Division Controller and Corporate Director of Finance for Hexcel Corporation. Shel began his career at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, where he served as manager in their Audit Services Group. Shel is co-founder, board member and Chief Financial Officer of The Creek, a non-profit youth center for middle school youth. He has a B.A. in Business/Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a CPA.
Cheryl Paterson, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Ms. Paterson has more than 20 years of experience developing Human Capital Management (HCM) applications. Cheryl was Vice President of Engineering for ADP/ProBusiness, where she was responsible for defining a global product strategy and managing the HCM development teams. Cheryl served as CTO/VP Engineering for InterPro, a workforce and expense management software company, VP Engineering for Cyborg Systems, where she developed a new global HCM product line and was a partner with an implementation consulting firm. Cheryl has a B.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico, is a member of IEEE, and has held leadership positions in several non-profits including Board Chair for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area.
Steven Rodriguez, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing
Mr. Rodriguez has more than 18 years of leadership experience in sales, sales management, finance, and data processing. As a consultant at Human Capital Success, Steven launched a consulting practice, coached executives, and designed compensation, sales and marketing plans to increase revenue and employee retention. He was Senior Vice President of Sales at Ceridian Employer Services Inc, where he grew the organization by expanding into new markets and delivering new products that resulted in top line revenue growth and increased sales productivity. Prior to joining Ceridian, Steven was Regional Director for Epicor Software Corporation and VP Sales with ADP. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.
